Fees

All fees are determined collaboratively. I am not in-network with any insurance companies and instead I use a structured sliding scale taking into consideration each individual’s income, resources and financial obligations. This intentional model helps ensure more equitable access to quality mental health services for all.

PSYCHOTHERAPY

Searching for any care provider can be daunting. Trying to find a therapist who’s a match can be painstaking. In most cases, it requires substantial time, energy, and knowledge of the mental health landscape. In all cases, it also requires both awareness of your own needs and an ability to speak about those needs with someone you’ve never met. It can be frustrating and defeating to find that many therapists do not accept insurance. There are several important systemic reasons why therapists choose not to be in network with insurance companies, but it remains a reality that deters many from seeking treatment. If you think you’d like to work with me, but were hoping to use in-network benefits, feel free to get in touch for a consult and to discuss sliding scale fees.

For clients who have out-of-network benefits with their insurance plan, I will provide receipts as requested so you can submit for reimbursement.

ASSESSMENT & REFERRAL

For individuals seeking a therapist that takes their specific insurance, has a particular identity or lived experience, specialized training or expertise, I offer assistance with matching and referrals. This service is offered on a sliding scale and typically includes 1-3 session hours for me to assess, research and refer.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

If an employer is contracting and paying for clinical supervision services for employees, fees are determined using a sliding scale based on the organization’s annual budget.
